• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Email subject not being marked as SPAM, even though mail is being flagged in body

Hi,
We have a Plesk server running 7.5.2. Spam Assassin is configured server-wide to flag anything with a score of 5 or above as spam, and modify the subject to say ****SPAM CAUGHT BY ourdomain.COM****

While it does seem to be catching spam, it's not modifying the subject of the emails. If we open the email, it will have the standard

Spam detection software, running on the system "blah.domain.com", has identified this incoming email as possible spam.

message, but the subject is left untouched. I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason for this. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

I am experiencing the same problem. We're running Plesk v7.5.3 and the subject lines are not being flagged as spam, but the message bodies are.

Does anyone have any advice or anything we can check on this?

The problem seems less frequent on v7.5.4 with the latest fixes installed. Not very scientific, but it has improved.
