What mail server are you using? Check the mail server's logs to see what happens when your mail server communicates with Hotmail and report back with the error (if any).

using mailenable,
i checked my dns, it says this
WARNING: One or more of your mailservers is claiming to be a host other than what it really is (the SMTP greeting should be a 3-digit code, followed by a space or a dash, then the host name). If your mailserver sends out E-mail using this domain in its EHLO or HELO, your E-mail might get blocked by anti-spam software. This is also a technical violation of RFC821 4.3 (and RFC2821 4.3.1). Note that the hostname given in the SMTP greeting should have an A record pointing back to the same server. Note that this one test may use a cached DNS record.

mail.mysite.com claims to be non-existent host USER-BKHM33GLSZ.home:
220 USER-BKHM33GLSZ.home ESMTP MailEnable Service, Version: 1.96-- ready at 02/21/07 23:22:49
How do i fix this?

I have the same problem, hotmail servers receive the email (with a 250 ok code) but email is not show in the hotmail account.

Hotmail ask me for spf records (which i already have).

I'm sendind the another email, we need to wait :(

yeh its a real pain, but like anything with plesk they never help you. I dont think they actually know. least u know how to add a spf record, have not figured that out yet

Hi, dc06.

I can suggest, that one of your mail servers are in some kind of blacklist. If you acquired your ips recently that it's most probably the reason.

You can begin with mailing guys from hotmail support (from some other domain, :rolleyes: ), or with query "mail blacklist" to google, and than long search for one, you are in and than requesting removal of your ip/domain from it.

Misconfiguration of mail server you are noted is most probably contributes to your revocation, but i don't believe, that in manner you described. Technically tens of percents of mail servers are violating EHLO string compilation rules, so it's mostly not the reason.

Umm yeh, that didnt work. Followed the page got aload of info tried to put my ip into the box and it did nothing.
I still think its to do with the error that the dns stuff said about, but nobody seems to know how to solve that
