• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Emails being rejected due to wrong? HELO

New Pleskian
Plesk 12.5 Ubuntu 14.04
Postfix

HELO domain.tld works most of the time. (also that's our reverse DNS entry)
But we got a specific receiving server that only accepts emails from us if we send HELO mail.domain.tld (so our MX record). even though that resolves to the same IP (I only managed to configure that manually in the postifx/master.cf)
Is that actually correct behavior? (RFC: http://www.freesoft.org/CIE/RFC/1123/90.htm) If so I'd really need a Plesk setting for this - otherwise my manual change gets overwritten every time I change something witht the mail settings.

(Or do you think HELO with IP woud work also?)
