• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Emails on server

I have emails stored on one server and i have moved the domain over to a new server, is there any way of accessing the mails on the old server?

If you have access to the old server you will find the emails in /var/qmail/mailnames/yourdomain.com. This is if you have a RH type OS. It's always best to give that type of information when you post.

If your old server is still online and accessable, it is possible to save the old e-mails and move them across to your new server. However, this is very tricky, and requires sftp usage from both aspects. If you want to attempt this, I'd be happy to walk you through the process. Reply here or send me a Message via the forum, and we'll get a time worked out to where we can do this.

Moving Emails

If there is a way to move the emails to the new server then that would be ideal.

Can you send me the processes to do this?

Im not completely competent using SSH, but know my way around.
