• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Error: Plesk Backup and logs

Guys I've been getting multiple errors with the plesk backup tool when doing my weekly plesk full backups.

I get multiple messages like this one:

The process cannot access the file "c:\inetpub\vhosts\puntoweb.com\statistics\logs\access_logs" because it is being used by another process.
Abort dump?

when selecting NO to the about dump dialog, the backup process seems to skip the file and continue with the backup process, this message repeats many times for multiple log files on some of the domains. I found out that restarting the server (something not very desired) before the backup process seems to minimize the amount of these "abort dump" messages but i usually get 1 or 2 even after a system restart.

anybody experincing these kind of problems? any suggestions or solutions? I don't feel like this is right.

thanks in advance.
