ERROR: PleskFatalException: Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect()

Hello,

Since today 3:50am o'clock (server time) I get in 11.5.30 MU#32

ERROR: PleskFatalException: Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect(): No such file or directory (auth.php:142)

All domains can't connect to database.

I restart(shell) httpd and mysqld services and I get for plesk login now this error message:

ERROR: Zend_Db_Adapter_Exception: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused (Abstract.php:144)

Still, all domains not working.

After this I restart server with

shutdown -r now

and now all working again. Plesk login working now and all domains.


The server crash(?) cames with plesk(?) cronjobs. (So I think) I see in MRTG starting cronjob, because cpu rising and than breaking. In Plesk GUI cames a error hint with "unable to update plesk".

Thanks. The default value for "innodb_fast_shutdown" is "1": http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/innodb-parameters.html#sysvar_innodb_fast_shutdown

I look in my variables and its here too: "1". So I think that is correct.
