Well, let me explain my situation.

Today I backed up my server, a FULL backup to an other server (with the backup manager)
From Server1 to Vps1

Then I reinstalled Server1, because It gave huge errors,
Now I have a 27,5GB .tar file which needs to be restored,

I transferred it from VPS1 to Server1 in the directory /var/lib/psa/dumps
I cannot find it in my Server Repository when I am in the CP.

So I Added a FTP, localhost, which points to /var/lib/psa/dumps.
Well, Plesk seems to know the FULL backup's location, but when I try to transfer or restore it with the manager, it just says "FTP Network Error"

Also, I tried playing around with the commandline version, but no results, I saw something about creating a map, but I dont know why I should do that, and it simply does NOT work.

Any ideas?
I really need this backup, I cannot start over again!

Thanks in advance.

PS. I did google for like 6 hours straight and 10 hours total.... no (helpful) results (headache....)

I have got similary erro my plesk 9.2.1 when i was removing backup file 13.2 GB. "FTP Network error" Kindly update your suggestion

Just fyi and update, this error still happens on 9.5.2 and the "Error: FTP Network error" is caused by a timeout in large files from external FTP's.
We have a backup file of a domain with about 7GB and it happens every 10 minutes, i already checked with my watch, timming it.
We have 7 servers with Plesk Panel Linux OS (Debian, Ubuntu), guess we will have to change to another technology.
Plesk didnt helped me, because my direct provider is Amen Portugal, which i understood and tried to get some help from them, after two days of a service migration asked by us, they told me that i have to restore the backup FTPing the file myself, and then using the command line ./pleskrestore --restore........., resuming, i have to restore it manually.
Guess this is not a PLESK limitation or FTP (which i have changed my timeout to 1800 seconds), this is a file size problem, my problem... why do i have such large files?!?! (because i need it, it is a domain with a lot of visits... hard to understand that!).

Well, just sharing info.

BTW: this does not happen with plesk 8.6!!! (where i have domains with backup file sizes of 10GB and another with 12GB and another with 6GB)
