Resolved Error sending mail from my application

Hello:
I am configuring the plesk mail server, which I already have working from webmail sending and receiving without problem. When I try to send from my php application it sends me the following error:

The following From address failed: Called Mail () without being connected

Ports 465, 587 and 25 are open on my firewall. I am using phpmailer.

Absolutely no Plesk issue. Simply wrong configuration data in your PHP Mailer configuration section. Please lookup "Called Mail () without being connected" on Google. You'll find tons of articles on this.
