  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Error Upgrading MariaDB on CentOS 7

morphx

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009 (Core)
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian v18.0.68_build1800250228.09
While trying to upgrade MariaDB 5.5.68 the process stops at the "Updating the server configuration" step with this error message:
Plesk\DatabaseServer\Upgrade\MariaDbCompatibility::getIncludedConfigFiles(): Argument #2 ($path) must be of type string, null given, called in /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DatabaseServer/Upgrade/MariaDbCompatibility.php on line 130

Make sure you don't have any other MariaDB repos in your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory

Just guessing, but it doesn't look like a real database server update on the console, but an attempt to use the Plesk database server upgrade. However, as CentOS 7 is long end of life, this will probably not work, because Plesk does not support EOL operating systems. You can try to update the database server manually as described on the "Manual Procedure" tab of https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...-5-to-5-6-5-7-or-MariaDB-5-5-to-10-x-on-Linux

One question though: should I try to upgrade to AlmaLinux instead?
I guess that would make things... easier?
