Error with SSL

SalvadorS

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

We have a server with Plesk 9.3. We bought a Godaddy SSL certificate to install in the control panel (accessing with the "master" login and password, then click on security and SSL certificates) but it doesn´t works. We did the same in others servers (plesk 9.2) and it worked. But with this we receive an error with the SSL (IE, firefox and Chrome)

The SSL is correct, is installed correctly too but the error is the same as if you try to access to an https site and this site has not ssl certificate instaled.

Any ideas?

Regards

I'm getting the same error.

I bougth a certificate from goDaddy. It's installed and configured with my domain, but I still get the certificate error when I access the site with any web browser.

Am I missing some additional step or something?

SSL Problem

I also have the same problem.

The installation of my GoDaddy SSL certificate went smoothly, but Step-14 of the instructions from GoDaddy for Plesk 9x installation didn't work. After selecting WEB HOSTING SETTINGS, there wasn't an option to change the SSL Certificate to the one required. The Certificate field simply displayed the standard default setting:

"default certificate (Administrator's repository)"

No other options were available. No drop-down selection box or anything, making it impossible to select the SSL Certificate for the domain.

In this condition, it is impossible to add a 3rd Party SSL Certificate into Plesk 9.3.

SSL Problem in 9.3

Does anyone know if this problem exists in version 9.5?

As I must have an SSL certificate in place, is it worth upgrading from 9.3 to 9.5?

Hi,

I believe that the problem is not the version of plesk.

The IP Address related to the ssl domain must be exclusive. To check this go to IP Address managment and check if the ipaddress is set to be exclusive.

If not you must to the following:

unjoin the ip address from the domains
remove the ipaddress
re-add the ipaddress setting exclusive for type and default certificate as the certificate
in the customer ip address re-add the vacant ip address
in the web hosting setup now you are able to choose the ssl certificates for the exclusive ip address.

This work for me on plesk 9.3 on centos5.4.

Hope this helps

Fabrizio
