PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Hi, I want to exclude directories in a domain from a scheduled serverwide backup.
I tried (Plesk root is under /mnt/vhosts/ on that server)

/mnt/vhosts/domain.com/*
/mnt/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/*
/domain.com/*
*/domain.com/*
domain.com/httpdocs/*
/domain.com/httpdocs/*

But its still backing up everything.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Just plan a scheduled serverwide backup and try to exclude something.

ACTUAL RESULT

Nothing was excluded.

EXPECTED RESULT

Directories should have been excluded.

From developer:

it doesn't work with absolute path.
it works only for files inside webspaces.
for case if you create subscription backup, it works only for: /mnt/vhosts/domain.com/<specified path>
for case if you create server backup, it works for each webspace:
/mnt/vhosts/domain1.com/<specified path>
/mnt/vhosts/domain2.com/<specified path>
/mnt/vhosts/domain3.com/<specified path>
...

but if you want to exclude some clients/domains from server backup, you can do it via CLI:

No, sorry, it's just not working, please really have a look at it.
I went deeper into a directory containing thousands of files.
It's actually a subdomain, don't know if that makes a difference.

/mnt/vhosts/sub.domain.com/httpdocs/files/*

But nothing is excluded.

Excuse me, but please reread feature description:

You can only exclude files within webspaces. Specify the path or paths relative to the webspace root, separating individual files with commas. Using the mask symbol is allowed (e.g. /somedir/log*).

that means if you put (for example):

/httpdocs/*
/logs/*

then it'll exclude inside each webspace for server-backup:

/mnt/vhosts/domain1.com/httpdocs/*
/mnt/vhosts/domain1.com/logs/*
/mnt/vhosts/domain2.com/httpdocs/*
/mnt/vhosts/domain2.com/logs/*
/mnt/vhosts/domain3.com/httpdocs/*
/mnt/vhosts/domain3.com/logs/*
etc...

If you believe that should work with absolute path (e.g. /mnt/vhosts/sub.domain.com/httpdocs/files/*), then please suggest on Plesk Uservoice:
