I want to make a complete backup via Tools & Settings>Backup Manager
How I can use "Exclude specific files from the backup" to exclude a specific domain folder like /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/httpdocs/>folder>/*
This setting did not work :-(
1. Create subscription with default document root
------------------------------------------------------------------------ root@a10-52-31-63 httpdocs]# pwd
/var/www/vhosts/d1.a10-52-31-63.qa.plesk.ru/httpdocs
[root@a10-52-31-63 httpdocs]# ls do_not_packup_me
1 2 3
[root@a10-52-31-63 httpdocs]#
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Want to exclude from backup /var/www/vhosts/d1.a10-52-31-63.qa.plesk.ru/httpdocs/do_not_packup_me/2
3. Go to Home > Tools & Settings > Back Up the Server and click "Exclude specific files from the backup", type "/httpdocs/do_not_packup_me/2"
4. Perform server backup
5. Check backup content:
[root@a10-52-31-63 d1.a10-52-31-63.qa.plesk.ru]# tar -tzf backup_user-data_1910031034_1910031331.tgz | grep do_not_packup_me
httpdocs/do_not_packup_me/
httpdocs/do_not_packup_me/1
httpdocs/do_not_packup_me/3
[root@a10-52-31-63 d1.a10-52-31-63.qa.plesk.ru]#
As U can see exclude element "/httpdocs/do_not_packup_me/2" is missed in archive.
