• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Exclude Subdomain Database in Backup

Lukas N

New Pleskian
Hello,

today I've searched for a solution to my Problem but wasn't able to find something that can help me.
I got a Subdomain with 3 Databases.

Now I want to make a Backup of that Subdomain but with only two of these three Databases.
Is there a way to exclude a specific Database from the Backup Plan?

Thanks

Lukas

Can you also tell the reason you want this?

I for one wanted this in the past because the database was too big (200 GB). I didn't want to include that data in the back-up because most of the data in that database can be discarded and wasn't worth the resources it needed for its back-up.

To achieve this I created a 2nd MySQL instance on port 3307. Of course that data will not be back-upped as Plesk was totally unaware of it.
