• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Windows Server 2012
Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian 18.0.52
After install "Obsidian 18.0.52"-updating, database's "Export Dump"-function doesn't work. It seems there is a compatibility issue with MySQL 5.1 database...

I inadvertently had automatic updates turned on, and our Plesk got updated. Now, I can't back up our databases and the scheduled backups also fail. Is there a way to back down to a version that supports MySQL 5.6? This is a production box, so I need to be careful.

You cannot downgrade. Instead, why not upgrade the ancient MySQL to a modern version?
This is a production server, running other software. We are in the process of standing up a new box, but at the moment, we are seemingly unable to backup our databases from Plesk. Which means, we will have to backup each schema manually from WorkBench. Ugh.
