• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Facebook connection problem

LasseW

New Pleskian
Hi,

I am trying to connect my website to my facebook page. I follow the simple instructions but get error messages from the webpresence app in facebook:

[blocked] The page at 'https://www.facebook.com/lar*****log/app_162438790477380' was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from 'http://lar****n.com/fb/': this content should also be loaded over HTTPS.

This error message came after a first error message when the app blocked the loading of the app because the site in itself ran insecure content, I then added a certificate to the site so it loads over https from Facebook (dont understand why that should be neccesary) but now it seems the problem being that it tries to load some drivers over http. Not really sure how this is supposed to work, but it is not as simple as the instructions makes one belive.

Grateful for any suggestions.
