Question fail2ban update

Dear Plesk staffs,

Can fail2ban be updated to a newer version? The fail2ban installed by Plesk is 0.10.3, was released 2 years ago. There are many new and useful features in the new version, e.g. ignorecache can speedup and improve performance of ignore failure check.

@nethubonline FWIW: Question - Which version is fail2ban on Obsidian? Is it still 2 years old?
There's been no updated Fail2Ban version number (package) provided within any of the Obsidian updates since that thread... but think there has been some minor backport type bug fixes. The current Fail2Ban package we have is still: Version: 1:0.10.3.1-v.ubuntu.18.04+p18.0.30.0+t200826.0942

bump. Plesk costs too much to have outdated security features - and not even LTS, just outdated by 1.5+ years
