Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
  • Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.

Resolved Favicon (Plesk branding) can not be modified after the initial change

W4ru

Basic Pleskian
Occurs on both of my newly installed servers: Changing the favicon (.ico and .svg) was successful after the first change.
Now I wanted to use a different color variant for better differentiation, but this change is not being applied.

Deactivating the favicon is also incorrect: the favicon continues to be displayed, Although the default “P” should be used.

I tried it just now for myself and it works fine. It could be a browser cache issue. Have you tried in another browser or clearing cache?

Thank You @scsa20 !

I had already tried incognito mode and CTRL+SHIFT+R, but it took a sledgehammer and crowbar :-/
I got further with a different browser...
Now I've cleared the cache and done a few more hard reloads: now Chromium has got the message and is loading the correct icon.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

favicons are stored most persistent in caches, because they rarely change. It's a cache issue only (which you already found out). What you can do is to load the icon file via it's URL separately, add a question mark and a random character to the URL, reload that URL. That should fix it without having to clearl the browser cache, because it forces the file to be reloaded from the server (works with other URL formats, too).
