The File Managers Permission window shows a table of checkboxes for Read mode | Write mode | Execute, against Provider, Group and Other. Much software installs use a numeric equivalent, eg. 777 = all checked.
1. It would be useful to (a) display the numeric equivalent, (b) allow the customer to optional change permissions using the numeric equivalent. (c) Display the numeric equivalent next to the rw- flags on the directory pages.
Otherwise it is impossible for a novice to convert between numeric and checkbox equivalent (does it read left to right? top to bottom? Which end is significant?)
2. It would also be useful of the directory permissions column showed the order of the groups of rw- flags, eg.
