  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue File Permissions after Migration

Shawn Coffey

New Pleskian
a few subscriptions will not allow changes to file/folders in Fila Manager or to install an SSL cert from Let's Encrypt after migration from Win 2012 R2 Plesk Onyx 17.8 to Win 2016 Plesk Onyx 17.8. I have tried using the Plesk reconfigurator, running %plesk_cli%\repair.exe --repair-webspace-security -webspace-name domain.com and deleting the .security file and recreating it all with no success. Nothing I have researched seams to fix the permissions.

Any/all help appreciated.
