File size aquota.group aquota.user

New Pleskian
Hello,

I found out that there are quite a few huge files on my system.

I get this list of files over 100mb in size:
Code:
[root@ns1 ~]# find / -size +100M
/var/named/run-root/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000071/aquota.user
/var/named/run-root/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000071/aquota.group
/var/named/run-root/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000072/aquota.user
/var/named/run-root/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000072/aquota.group
/var/named/run-root/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000073/aquota.user
/var/named/run-root/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000073/aquota.group
find: /var/named/run-root/proc/21590/task/21590/fd/4: No such file or folder
find: /var/named/run-root/proc/21590/fd/4: No such file or folder
/var/qmail/queue/mess/2/94797860
/var/qmail/queue/mess/3/94797884
/var/qmail/queue/mess/13/94797848
/var/qmail/queue/mess/1/94797859
/var/drweb/spool/drweb.tmp.Mf5I0n
/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000071/aquota.user
/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000071/aquota.group
/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000072/aquota.user
/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000072/aquota.group
/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000073/aquota.user
/proc/vz/vzaquota/00000073/aquota.group
find: /proc/21590/task/21590/fd/4: No such file or folder
find: /proc/21590/fd/4: No such file or folder
/usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/server/core.11936

I can not do anything with those files because the permissions don´t allow for that, I can not even change permissions.

I notice those files are written to on very page view.

Questions:
- Are this normal file sizes?
- What are they used for?
- Should I do anything?

Thanks, greetings.

It is quota files for your Virtuozzo containers. Do not touch them.

Thanks for your reply Igor.

What bothers me is that those files are so big, doesn´t such file size reduce server speed?
I am the only user on this sever, can I not run my container without the processes that use those files?

Do not worry about these files and server performance. If you need more details - read carefully Virtuozzo documentation about container's quota.
