File Upload Progress - Plesk 12.5 / Debian 8 / PHP5.6

Dear ladies and gentleman,

I want a file upload progressbar with one of these PHP Environments:
5.6.16 CGI-Anwendung
5.6.16 FPM-Anwendung
5.6.16 FastCGI-Anwendung

but none of them seems to work with
http://php.net/manual/en/session.upload-progress.php
or
https://pecl.php.net/package/uploadprogress


and apc is outdated since php5.4.

Do anybody know a solution for this?
(We use apache only without nginx, less is more, and sometimes we had problems handling images with nginx)
