• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Filemng.exe/file manager troubles

I've got some problems with the file manager module. When going to a folder with lots of files (about 2000 small to medium sized, max 20MB, files in this case), the file manager seems to hang for about 8 minutes. In the meanwhile, apache keeps creating filemng.exe processes which start eating memory and CPU time. Basicly performing a DoS attack on the plesk CP.

Filemng.exe eventualy completes the task of building the file list, but it isn't normal that it takes 8 minutes to do so.

Is this a known problem? (couldn't find anything usefull on the forum though). Has anyone experienced this problem to?

Any help would be greatly appriciated...
