I activated the firewall module in Plesk and afterwards called iptables -L.
When I read the output correctly, the firewall script from Plesk adds an "ACCEPT all" before any other rules. From what I know about iptables that means that no other rule is used. All connections are accepted and the firewall is useless, i.e. non-existent.
Am I informed correctly and if yes, why does Plesk creates this script?
EDIT: OK, my fault, I did not see that this entry is for the loopback device ("lo"). Problem solved.
