I just installed Plesk for the first time.

I need clarification that I (server owner) am responsible to apply the license via Plesk prior to handing over the server to the client? How am I protected from the client stealing the license ID information and using it elsewhere ?

I went to the Plesk panel and see the agreement. Is this for the client to agree to or myself (license owner)? I guess the only way to apply the license is to "agree" in order to get into the panel, or is it done somehow else?

There is a way to apply the license before agreement through the SSH console, but the user should agree to the license as I think its geared towards the server operator (in this case the client?).

Well, the license ID is one thing the license file is a different one. License ID may be used just for creating a ticket, however after the ticket is created SWSoft support checks the actual license installed on the server help is requested for.

The license file may be resent to the license owner only at the registered email address (indicated at the time of purchase), unless there is no license owner special request to resend it to a different one.
