Forum searches and min 4 characters

Hey there,

I understand why forum searches typically have a minimum 4 character requirement for search terms for performance reasons.

However, this makes it extremely difficult to search this forum for important acronyms like "xml" and "api".

It would be great if you could lower the character limit required for searching.

Hmm... there is no limit for 4 character. Current limit is 3 characters and searching 'api' works fine.

Weird. Perhaps the API just isn't discussed often in the forums...
