• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

FP Webadmin - Not logging in

Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 server with Plesk 7.6 installed and having problems with Frontpage admin...

Whenever you click on the FPWebadmin link from within the CP and enter the correct FTP/FP username/password it still pops up the auth box. This happens time and again and the event logs is not helping either... according to the logs the user logs in perfectly (event 540 - sucessful network logon)

When you do a cancel you are greeted with;

You are not authorized to view this page

You do not have permission to view this page using your current user account.
Please try the following...

Am i missing something really stupid here? Any ideas?

Any pointers much appreciated.

Regards,

FP stopped working again today even though the same settings as above post were in place which worked!

Solution: Make sure clear text auth is ticked in IIS.
