• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi boardsters...my first post ... and one that has my head spinning...

Have Plesk 6.5.2 on a Server 2003 box; set it up with SQL Server ...and DNS etc...

Installed Plesk - but can't get one of my FPage test sites to publish - Always brings up a "500 server error"...Cannot complete your request when publishing.

Tried a different site and it worked.

But original site won't...creates directories & uploads pages then right at end brings up the error... (Non-ssl or ssl)... tried going into IIS 6 allowing Script Source Access...No Joy...

3 Other Questions...

1) I've now messed up the Server Extensions... how do I reinstall without removing domain... which would if production server delete mail etc...

2) Does going into IIS 6 muck up plesk ??

3) Does diabling M$ DNS in favour of Bind (on Plesk) make any odds? Can still successfully ping etc...?

Cheers
Nic
