  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Frontpage 98 problems on 7.5.2

We transferred one of the users from a Plesk 5.0 server to our brand new Plesk 7.5.2 server.

Now my client can no longer login. We rebuild the Frontpage-extensions by turning them off, removing the files manually, and then turning it on again. That way we were able to enter the FP Webadmin, which wasn't possible before. We even made the user have all "roles" and still nothing.

When the client logs in, his password is rejected. After reloading he gets:

"An error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details".
In the serverlog we see the same Error #4000a Message.

I personally guessthat FP 98 is not supported on these Frontpage 2002 extensions, but what do you think?
