  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Helen Pang

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

We've upgraded the Plesk Panel from version 8.6 to 9.5 2 days ago, but the FTP service suddenly having problem today, which all the users are unable to access the FTP. The websites and CP are running fine. We've also restarted all the services and even the server itself, but still can't.

We've run the log from server and get this message:

Jul 1 13:53:41 pleskcp2 proftpd[9476]: error: no valid servers configured
Jul 1 13:53:41 pleskcp2 proftpd[9476]: Fatal: error processing configuration file '/etc/proftpd.conf'

Please advice what's wrong and how to resolve it.
