FTP connection fail?

Hi guys,

I'm having troubles with my new VPS Plesk.
I've redirected a domein trough DNS to my Plesk.
When you go to the URL of the website, the website is running.
These are the DNS settings I've done:
@ A (myip)
ftp.mydomain.nl. A (myip)
www.mydomain.nl. A (myip)

But when I try to login with my FTP, it doesn't work.
I've tried several FTP systems. And I got these error messages:

Filezilla: Could not connect to server
Transmit: Connection timed out or server hung up. The server you are connecting to may be configured to limit the number of connections you are allowed to make.
Cyberduck: connect timed out

Is there a setting I should change? Something I should activate?

I'm hoping someone could help me!

Did you check that post 21 is accessible for hostname or IP address by telnet at least?
