ftp - long username

Hi,
is it possible to create ftp User with more than 16 signs?

We need this function to move a new customer from old Provider to plesk


Update:
i tried ProFTPd mod_rewrite. But it fails because: http://talk.plesk.com/threads/activate-mod_rewrite-with-proftpd.327858/

and now parallels?

Length of username is system name limit - http://kb.sp.parallels.com/en/1027
Regarding support of mod_rewrite - use mentioned Plesk uservoice for submitting feature request.
