• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

FTP password reset?

Hi

On mu plesk 7.5.2, I recently added a new domain, which works just fine. The only problem is: even after I created the psychical hosting account for the new domain and set an FTP password, my FTP account cannot be accessed through smartFTP or another FTP program. I always get the message that the password is incorrect, even after changing the password a 100 times!

This is very frustrating and at this moment don't know what else I can do...Is there a way to reset the password manually? Is there an admin FTP that blocks the new domain, and if so, how can that be reset?

Where do I look?

Thx
