• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

FTP Problems...

Hi There

after migration from 9.5.2 for 10.2.0 , all FTP accounts give me error:

User ****** cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
Could not open host *******: username and/or password was not accepted for login.

Well, if we change the password for the same, the users can login, but we have 400 domains, so we don't want to change it in every account.

Why this happen?

Thanks.

Hi Igor,

We i've seen that KB!

with these 2 commands the FTP works:

"%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --remove-vhost --vhost-name=yourdomain.com
"%plesk_bin%\ftpmng.exe" --reconfigure-vhost --vhost-name=yourdomain.com

But i've 2 servers with 400 domains...and with all don't work!

Thanks.

I just upgraded to 10.2.0, and have the same problem. The command to reconfigure a single host works, but not --reconfigure-all.

Is there a way around it? and not reconfiguring host by host.

Thank you.

Hi,

Parallels works in our machines and solved the problem after a few days (8 or 9 days). Too much time, and with payment.

Best Regards,
