• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Ok. In Plesk 9 if you have noticed ftp sessions are not shown in plesk !
Anyone knows why ?

Didn't find a parallels solution. And I also saw that other people describe the same problem.

Hello Alexander,

Your Parallels Plesk Panel can show active FTP sessions only when any of the following FTP server programs is installed on the hosting server:

* Microsoft FTP 7.0 (Windows hosting)
* Gene6 FTP Server (Windows hosting)
* Serv-U FTP Server (Windows hosting)
* ProFTPd (Linux/UNIX hosting)

You can find out more in the following extract from Parallels Plesk Panel for Linux/Unix Administrator's Guide:

http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PPP9/Doc/en-US/plesk-9.0-administrators-guide/59248.htm

Any idea ???

I am using Proftpd and yet nothing ... Updated to Plesk 9.2.1 but the issue insists ...

The problem continues ... Ftp sessions are still not monitored in Plesk even though I use ProFTPD ....

Is any body from parallels looking into this? We are having similar issue with our Plesk 9.2.3 and customers are waiting for the outcome. Thx.

I have checked it right now for Plesk 9.3.0 and I see my test FTP session in Sessions Management.
