FTP sites :-(

Hi there

I seem to not understand the concept of FTP sites in IIS6 and Plesk...

I know the ftp server is only one, but from all the documentation I gathered one should have several virtual ftp folders in IISmanager....

What bothers me is the FTP folder of a domain shows to the name of this domain inside the vhosts folder. Ok, but I want it to show only the http folde, not the private, stats and other folders... How do I change that??? I tried changing the path directly in IIS, but I can not find virtual ftp folders set up for my site. Where does a FTP get them for my domains then?

I had a home version of UServ at home, everything was crystal clear. But MS FTP I really don't understand... Now as it is creating the subdomain enables the domain user to browse through subdomain user folder. How can I change that?

And I also want to login from my home to take backups from my server so I need a FTP login pointing to d:\ drive as the whole.

Is it time to save for SERV-U???

Jerry

It isn't time for SERV-U

Concept is as follow:
for each Ip different site
All users (e.g domain users) are in the same group on that IP MSFTP_xxxxx
root begins from %plesk_vhosts%\server
Bellow are numeric folders,-one for each IP
Below are localuser folder-> and at last user folders (indeed it is junction points)

Thank you, I think I understand the concept, it is just I don't like it... I would like to pount to httdocs folder only for single user, not on the whole folder with stats, private, public etc... Can I do that?
