Question FTP user directory

Hi,
I've a problem, after taht I created an ftp user, when I try to access using ftp, directory is not the /var/www/vhosts/<domain-name> but /vae/www/html ...why?
How can I solve?

Have you checked at the Hosting-Settings the path ?

Plesk: Domains -> Your Domain -> Hosting Settings -> documents path:
