New Pleskian
Dear Parallels Support,

After upgrading to Plesk 12 the FTP connection has become very slow. Mode Security, Fail2Ban and Plesk Firewall have been enabled, the security is set to force sFTP and maximum security and in /etc/proftpd.d/ a conf file has been added to set the passive ports that have been opened in the Plesk Firewall (60000 to 62000)

Turning off the Mod Security does not solve the slow connection.

What can we do to detect the cause of the problem?

Best Regards,
Jan

Ok found a solution in my case
here are some instruction for centos user having similar problem

1 - If Plesk Firewall enabled - Add to allow passive ports for example 60000-65534 tcp to firewall rule
2 - edit proftpd.conf # vi /etc/proftpd.conf
3 - move " IdentLookups Off" to GLOBAL Section
<Global>
IdentLookups Off
....

</Global>
UseReverseDNS Off
4 - then add in proftpd.conf Directive "PassivePorts 60000 65534"
5 - # service xinetd restart - to reload the service with new config

That seem to resolve my slow Ftp issue and seems to work.
Hope That Helps anybody with similar issue.
