ftping files from plesk to win server

HI

I can no longer upload my back ups to my windows server
when the files are large. I get a "timeout error" but my
win server is set for a 30 min window and the file only
takes 4 min to move! It worked great until a win update
in May!

Is there some setting in the linux
ftp client process to change?

My 4psa total backup no longer works and I have tried
switching passive on/off to solve.

I am almost ready to put another linux box online just to
solve. Any help would be welcome.
