• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

generel question about UIDs

Pumuckl

New Pleskian
Hello,

can I add new users manually or does plesk override the UIDs ?
I know this problem from confixx, but there i can define the range of min. and max UID for confix. How does it work with plesk?
Does plesk override UID which I've added manually?

For example, I've added a user and the UID is 1003, but if I'll add a new user with plesk, what will happen? Will plesk take the next free UID (in this case UID 1004) or will plesk override the UID 1003 ?
If yes, can I set the min and max uid for plesk in a config file like in confixx?

Thanks in advance for your help!
