• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Groups and Autoresponders

I'm not sure this is the right place for it but I will post it and see what comes of it.

I have a client that has several common e-mail groups ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc.) and they have autoresponders set up for these groups so that the person e-mailing this group knows that the request was received. That is not my issue (but may be of some importance).

When [email protected] (in the group [email protected]) has an autoresponder turned on and someone e-mails that group ([email protected]), [email protected]'s autoresponder replies to that e-mail.

Is there any way that it can be set up so only direct e-mails can be responded to via the autoresponder?

Thanks

Hello,

Note that in Plesk you can set conditions for automatic reply at Home > Domains> domain.name > Mail Accounts > [email protected] > Autoresponders >. Autorespond can be sent only when specified words are found in message subject or body. It is the only way in Plesk to choose what messages should receive autoresponds.

Regards,
Denis.
