Hard to solve

we had a hardrive failure , so we had backed up plesk and after the hardrive replacement we restored.


interestingly after the restore below functions stopped functioning,

- Add New domain
- Click on present domains set-up button
- Click on File Manager
- Click on Web Dorectories
- Setting Domain limits

Plesk just hangs, "no errors" returned just hangs. and in the process list we see filemng.exe & usermng executables are given CPU time but doing nothing... simply starvation occurs...

we had tried each combination of reconfigure / restore and all possible commandline tricks, but nothing works.

i.e when we run plesk reconfigurator utility every thing is perfect, but above functions still hangs plesk

it seems the problem is with filemng and usermng utilities, but nothing works

...all this happens on plesk 7.5.4

any ideas?

Upgrading to 7.5.5 will fix this problem.
