Question Have 12.0.? Database with 12.5 installation how to force upgrade of DB

for some reason I lost plesk installation so I ran
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller
and decided (bad decision) to upgrade to 12.5 ( 12.0 was showing installed )

getting this error
ERROR: Zend_Db_Table_Row_Exception: Specified column "plesk_max_version" is not in the row

But get a missing table error , so now I have ended up with a 12.5 installation 0

and the
/usr/local/psa/bin/repair --installation

gives this error

DATABASE ERROR!!!
Previous product version is , but previous database
version is 012000018. In most of cases it is result of
previous upgrade try failure. Please, restore previous version
from backup, and try again or contact technical support.


so how can I force the DB upgrade ? the repair --db only fixes tables does not migrate data as needed

Would that not be a good idea? I don't see how the situation can be healed otherwise.
