hMailServer 5.2.1 with Plesk 9.2

Schupo

New Pleskian
Dear community, dear support,

since everyone is asking questions to hmail-support, how this current version is going to run with the plesk 9+ version, I'm wondering if one in this parallels support forums can help out and make this work.

I'm myself running Plesk 9.2 for Windows and am using the above mentioned version.
Plesk is running plain with version 4.4 of hmailServer. But since this version is not up-to-date, nor supporting some functions like SSL, I'd love to see Plesk running with the newest one.

One thing you can choose during installation is whether you want to use the inbuild database or an external one.
Is switching to external database solving the incompatability problems?

When I use the 5+ Version of hMail I cannot create new domains with plesk, b/c it's telling me of error concerning mail creation. I can also not see and manage mail accounts itself with the 5+ version.
The only way 5+ will work is, when I install 4.4 hMailServer and setup everything, back it up, install 5+ and restore settings. This way I have all my stuff running, but making changes or even letting customers doing own changes isn't possible in this way.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this, or even better, can you (paralllels support) please support this version? Alot of people use this and like to see everything running smooth again.

Thanks.

Many users have been requested this feature, and plesk said they will work on it on the forum before. But then when plesk 9.2 came out, it was a disappointment that it was not integrated. Hopefully they are already working on the patch to make that work. I contacted hmailserver developers a while back, they said plesk did not contact them for any integration...etc.

There are some compatibility problems and corresponding bug was submitted. Actually failed to get hMailServer.Application.Settings.DNSBlackLists for example. Developers are working on it and I hope that hmailserver 5 will be supported in the next Plesk version.

It is important that the next version of plesk works hMailServer 5, The biggest problem Plesk for Windows is that the mail programs that support not work well, users have to use hMailServer in version 4 because MailEnable works fatal falls far spam among other things.

I have updated request to developers with your opinion and I hope it will be implemented soon.

Guys,

Could you please send me in PM information about what is your company, how much Plesk servers for hMailServer 5 you have?

Thank you.

Good morning, I've migrated all servers to Mail Enable, thanks for your attention.
Greetings

Hallo eveybody,
do we have any news about hMailServer ? I have just upgraded to the new version and now I have many problems with the Plesk like creation of a new domain. Another thing is that now my clients can't create an email account themselves and we have a lot of support tickets and argues for that case.

Please inform as about your progress in that project

Can you provide me information which was requested by me above? I will inform developers about your request.

And now with 9.3??? i want to buy the new licence for two servers, but now you don´t provide Mailenable Standard support any more, so i can´t use it. I want the hmailServer 5.x version. That version doest´n work with 9.3 of plesk for windows??
