Plesk Migrator 2.36.0 fails to migrate to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80​

The error is:

Failed to connect to target Plesk server by Plesk API: Plesk error [1005]: Protocol version '1.6.8.0' is not supported. Current protocol version is '1.6.9.1'.

The Migrator is sending the following API request:

<packet version="1.6.8.0">

According to the Plesk documentation, Plesk Obsidian uses XML API 1.6.9.1, and API versions 1.6.9.0 and earlier are deprecated.

Plesk Migrator 2.36.0 and Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80?

The target server is already running the latest available Plesk version, Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80.6 as of today. However, Plesk Migrator 2.36.0 is still sending requests using XML API version 1.6.8.0, which is rejected by the target server.

Is this a known issue, and is there an official fix or workaround for migrating to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80?

Hi, @coffee34 . Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 is extremely outdated. You can apply the following workaround to perform the migration from the server. However, please make sure to remove the line after the migration is completed, because that exposes a serious security risk.
