• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Broken Horde Windows Plesk 8.1

Hi.

I just realized that my horde was broken also.

After looking around i found the problem is in conf.php. (C:\Inetpub\vhosts\webmail\horde\config)

After trying to fix the relative path already configured i decided to change it for the full one:

$conf['sql']['database'] = 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\webmail\horde\db\horde.db';

Hope this work for all of you out there.

See ya :D

mod: move this to the windows section

Plesk 8.1 for Linux > Plesk 8.1 for Linux Installation and 'How Do I' Questions > Horde Broke after upgrade

HORDE "DB Error: unknown error"

After fixing the database path i noticed that i could not send from webmail.

So after trying all kind of things I came to the conclusion that it was a Windows permission problem.

This is the error found in the logs:

[nativecode=attempt to write a readonly database]

The solution is to verify that the Internet Guest Account has write permission in the db folder of C:\Inetpub\vhosts\webmail\horde\ and if the user does not exist then create it.

Hope this saves a lot of time to all of you upgrading Plesk.

(Plesk 8.1 Windows)
