  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Horde not working on fresh 10.1.1 install

Hi.

I recently upgraded both my linux and windows plesk servers to V10.1.1. The linux upgrade went off without a hitch, but the windows install has some problems (Windows Server 2008 R2) - I didn't have many domains on the Windows server so I opted for a clean Windows install, followed by a clean plesk install and then re-creating the domains from scratch.

I would have thought a clean install would have no problems, but webmail does not seem to be working.

Entering webmail.domain.com just takes me to the default plesk page, even though I have verified all the A records, made sure mail was enabled for each domain, Horde selected as the webmail client, etc for each domain.

If I go to 'Webmail Services' in the plesk GUI, Horde is in the list, but if I try to either enable or disable it the system hangs for a few seconds before coming back with a 'Internal Error' message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks, yes, I had already read that thread.

Turns out my problem is a DNS issue, which is something for another thread.
