Horde problem after upgrade to 7.5.2

Upgraded to 7.5.2 this morning (RedHat Fedora Core 2).

Horde is now in Arabic, and logging in doesn't work. It is as if the user database doesn't work.

Also noticed that Wordpress installations don't work anymore, but other MySQL db applications do.

Any ideas how to fix?

There are some clues to the Horde/Arabic issue here. I ran into this a few weeks ago and was able to fix it based on information in the thread.
