Issue Host login page redirect

My server speccs:
‪Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS‬
Plesk Onyx Version 17.5.3 Update #18

ISSUE
Redirect http://my.domain.com:8443 to https://my.domain.com:8443 is not working.

CURRENT STATUS
Redirecting http://my.domain.com:8443 to https://host:8443

TESTS
I was trying to achieve the custom redirect with extension "Custom Plesk Host" version 1.0-7 which didn´t work (even after sw-cp-server restart).

WORKAROUND
Changing line 100 in /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/plesk.inc to

error_page 497 https://my.domain.com:$server_port$request_uri;

I´m not sure if this file won´t be overwritten with the next plesk update.

Is that a common issue?
