hosting plan template re-apply

i was looking for the feature since long back 4 years of my plesk usage but not found any thing.

Here is my query.

i was using ensim 4 year back and i found one good feature that we can re-apply predefined hosting plan to any running domain.

bronze-25
25mb disk space
2 email
1gb bandwidth
etc etc.

Gold-100
100mb disk space
20email
5gb bandwidth
urchin
2 MSSQL
2 Mysql

www.xyz.tld - current running with bronze25 plan
he want to upgrade to gold-100 plan and in plesk we have to reapply all parameter of plan manually currently. If we wish to upgrade that domain with just single plan selection page with single click it can be done instead of re-applying all the facility of new plan to each domain who wish upgradation intheir hosting plan.

dont know if there is such facility available through command line also

let me know if anyone having any information on this.

does any one not need this easy method to upgrade domains hosting with single click feature ?

do any of moderators know this feature can save lots of time and help automating things on indstry leading software plesk ?

Sounds like a realy nice feature indeed.

Could possible cause some problems if not designed correctly when downgrading to lower diskspace or fewer databases though. What if someone has 100mb now, and uses 60mb, and wants to downgrade to a 50mb package. Plesk should give a warning message that the downgrade is not possible or something.

So if it's failsave, then it would be realy nice to have.

let me tell u one example

plesk has current feature like it checks usage before upgrading.

right now my one client usage is 97mb where his plan is of 50mb.

today his hosting got expire and he didnt renew today but now he gave me confirmation.

when i go to renew his domain with same plan plesk dont allowing because he is using high traffic or bigger disk space than allowed so what i have to do currently is increase manually his plan to renew his domain.

he just want to stay with 50mb plan but he commited to make it empty by today or in two days.

so i have to remember that site that i have increase its limit to renew as if i forget this then client may use that 99mb increased with paying for just 50mb plan.

is this make sense to anybody ?
i am surprise why plesk didnt look at these kind of features.

Not come to the point of new feature i am wainting is.

if plesk can check traffic usage and disk usage of current date while renewing then why it not check while upgrading or downgrading and give error that it cant be upgrade/downgrade untill you free up space with your expected settings.

hope this explanation make sense to understand current scenario to make it happen impliment the new feature to moderator

i have made api-rpc call procedure throug php codes and it is making changes based on plan.

just need to build one xml query properly based on plan and call psa db for template details grabbing to apply in xml.

Update on Plan change feature.

Well i am preparing my own php scripts through API-RPC.

the thing is there is no option available yet on plesk CP itself and so i have come to know that through API-RPC it can be done if you're good at php scripting.

i have manually made my own logics and little php script through what i can manage my upgrade renewal and change of plan but this require lots of time to understand what api can do and what cannot.

there are still certain features unavailable in psa api which can be only done through manual plesk interface only.

i'll update soon once i get it through wit h.
