Resolved hostname link does'nt work

Hi,

I installed our new server a while ago and when we enter the hostname in the browser. than it doesn't work in the link.
How come? What went wrong?

pls. check the investigations:

DNS - entry not existent: => DNS Lookup for host.vpsplesk1.com
FQDN - not available: => DNS Lookup for vpsplesk1.com
FQDN not registered: => Domain / IP Whois - ViewDNS.info​

IP reverses to: => Reverse DNS Lookup for 88.198.207.251

Your "hostname" can't be any non-existent name/domain.

But how come with my other server in Cpanel. There i can create in random it own hostname?

I have no idea how to use CPanel and can't tell you anything about it's usage, settings or/and configurations. You might notice, that this forum is a PLESK - related forum, pls. consider to ask questions related to CPanel at another community of your choice.

So, if i want to use the hostname: host.vpsplesk1.com then i should buy the domainname [URL='https://www.dnswatch.info/dns/dnslookup?la=en&host=vpsplesk1.com&type=A&submit=Resolve']vpsplesk1.com?
